What is the damage deposit?

Rent Like A Champion places a $1,000 damage deposit hold on the renter’s credit card for the entirety of the rental period. This hold is maintained for 48 hours after check-out to give the host time to return home and ensure there is no damage to report to Rent Like A Champion. 

The damage deposit is the first line of defense to protect your home and belongings. However, there is also a $1M protection plan placed on each rental through the site. 

Note, if there is damage to report, it must be reported within this 48-hour timeframe. Please email info@rentlikeachampion.com with reports of any damages and we will begin the mediation process.
