Am I allowed to contact the host?

Yes! We strongly encourage reaching out to the homeowner prior to check-in. This really helps the entire rental process as it allows you to ask any questions or get local recommendations ahead of time. When you book a home, owners also receive your contact information, so they may proactively reach out to you with home details and rules.

When in doubt, it's best to over-communicate! Let the homeowner know who will be in your group (are you a family, a group of couples, etc) and get confirmation on their preferred check-out procedures so there is no confusion (strip the beds, or not?).
